A signature DX feature – a special needle plate design that closes the large needle gap when sewing straight stitches. This instantly turns the machine into a straight-stitch, semi-industrial unit for sewing both the thinnest and thickest fabrics with ease.

Sews any fabric
From the finest silk to thick denim, coat fabrics or leather – no puckering of thin fabrics and no trouble with many layers.
Direct feeding (Box Feed)
The feed dogs move at a right angle (industrial technology) rather than in an ellipse – avoiding puckering and slippery-fabric misalignment.
Improved feed mechanism
Steel feed dogs and a reinforced presser foot mount easily handle transitions from thin to thick areas – the stitch isn't crammed or skipped.
16 buttonhole styles
Thanks to a patented sensor, buttonholes are sewn to a very high standard regardless of fabric; adjust width, density and choose double or triple stitching.
Foot pedal with thread trimming
As on industrial machines – once finished, press the pedal backwards and the upper and lower threads are trimmed automatically.
Direct stitch selection
Select an operation with the buttons on the front, and a clear chart on the flip-open cover lets you work even without the manual.
Automatic bobbin winding
Fit the bobbin, nudge the lever and the machine winds the thread and stops automatically – no pedal or handwheel disc needed. The lower thread is prepared without threading, using an integrated cutter.
Large START & STOP button
A large, well-placed button glows green (ready to sew) or red (foot raised) – you can use it without taking your eyes off the work.
Automatic needle threading
No more threading the needle by hand – the automatic threading mechanism does it for you.
LED lighting & foot pressure
A multi-step presser foot pressure system for any fabric and bright, long-life LED lighting in several places.
Knee foot lifter
A special lever lets you raise the presser foot with your knee – your hands always stay free to hold the fabric.
